I've never tried Luvs, but have tried both Huggies and Pampers. I found that Pampers is the best, Huggies you can smell the pee, and they also leaked alot, even with very frequent diaper changes.
Make sure though that when you buy your first packs of diapers that you dont buy a bunch of newborn size. That happened to me, I was given a whole bunch and had to return them all because my son never fit into newborn size, he started out wearing size 1. And unless you have a preemie then your baby should fit into sz 1.

I used Huggies with my son. Pampers were great at the beginning. I could get 102 for $18 at Wal-Mart. I switched between Huggies & Pampers, depending on which coupon I had for the first 6 months. Then I stayed exclusively with Huggies Supreme as they didn't leak overnight. I tried Luvs & they leaked terrible, even during the day. I even tried the Wal-Mart & Target brand of diapers. Both weren't as good as Huggies.
Best suggestion is to try all brands & see which one works the best.

I have a 3 month old daughter and I have tried several brands. I really like Huggies the best because they are stretchier on the sides. It really depends on the child though. I may change my mind when my daughter gets a little older and starts moving around more. I'll just have to wait and see. I already have a pretty big supply of several different brands in the size 3 diapers though. They should last us 4-6 months, depending on how many diapers we go through each day when she grows into them!

I liked the pampers swaddlers when my son was born they go up to size 2 and then I used either the pampers cruisers or huggies. But as he got older I liked the huggies because they had an elastic waist. Just remember you get what you pay for.

For newborns and ery little babies, Pampers Swaddlers. They are soft and flexible. After that I like the Pampers Cruisers and Pampers Baby Drys.
If you are on a budget, I'd still do the newborn Swaddlers, but after that you can try BJ's store brand. I use them on my 2 year old and she never has leaks and they fit her well. Huggies and Luvs always leaked on her.

We have a 10 month old and started using pampers, the perfums they put in those diapers made her break out and nothing would help, we had to switch to huggies and those have been fine. Just keep an eye on any diaper you use and make sure your child is not allergic to them.

I used Huggies, Pampers, and Luvs with my child. Luvs is more cheaper. If you are on a budget. I used huggies with my daughter and I think they are the best when it comes to absorbency and it lets the babies bottom breathe more easily. Pampers is good for absorbency also but its just the fact that the diaper on the outside is made with plastic and don't let the babies bottom get any air. Choose both Huggies and Pampers if you want good absorbency. Choose huggies if you want good absorbency and your babies bottom to get some air and Luvs if you are on a budget.

I always liked to use huggies...however after 3 children, I think using the walmart brand is just as good or LUV's...they have great leak protection..However, for a newborn, huggies or pampers because they are great esp with the umbilical cord there.
I also liked to use Balmex instead of desitin to prevent diaper rash..
I also just have 3 girls so I have no experience with boys and leakage lol, but with a girl Huggies is awesome!

It really depends on your baby i tried huggies when my daughter was first born but most of the diapers were glued shut so then i bought luvs and they worked good but then i dont know if it was the dye or something but my baby kept getting a rash so then i tried pampers and pampers work great for my baby.
