I'm well out of school, but like you I did not like it when I was there. I wanted to learn a "trade" hands on. Back then I was in the travel business, and I did get a break into it. I was able to learn on the job and loved it so much I stayed in it for 12 years until I got married and had a family.
Maybe there is something else that interests you that you could learn...do you like to work with your hands - maybe you could get into building trades. Or get into a specialized trade school that just teaches exactly what you want to learn. Talk to you counselor at school - and see what other directions you can take that really fit your talents and abilities!
p.s. if you went to college right out of high school, maybe you're right. Just work for a while. Maybe you need a break. It may also give you the time you need to realize school is a good thing, or to pursue something different.
Good luck to you.

When I was a student in high school and college, I couldn't wait to get out. Now that I work full time, I wish I could have gone further in college, since advanced degrees can make you more money. So, try to enjoy school now, because working every day for the man isn't any fun either.

I joined the army through fact I hated college and did no longer choose to pass to varsity, even although I had diverse scholarships available to me. i'm in AIT precise now, that's the place you ways to do your job quite plenty, and that i like it and that i'm doing large. between the main motives I hated college replaced into that they taught me a team of ineffective expertise that i might by no potential use returned, yet now i'm gaining expertise of issues that i'll actual use in my profession, so it makes me choose to benefit. while you're a junior, it quite is beneficial to easily suck it up and push by using it, through fact college is usually a stable element to have and you're better than 0.5 way there. And in case you love to do specific forces, seem up the actual standards and make certain you will be able to as properly qualify. Lol I advise no longer doing specific forces although in view that would not go away very many suggestions open for once you retire. and that i might say you will be able to desire to enlist and be an MP or protection Forces or some thing, yet most of the persons who i recognize remorseful approximately picking that job, yet that would desire to truthfully help you out with growing to be to be a regulation enforcement officer, and each person loves protection stress adventure.

Personally, I love it and look forward to classes every day! (admittedly, not on alg test day) Always have though, being an extreme bookworm and geek. Hated the social garbage!
However, if you don't want to apply the time, effort, and commitment maybe college isn't right for you just now. Nothing wrong with working for awhile and finding out what your true passions are!

I'm 28 and glad for my education but really didn't enjoy school. However, I dropped out of college after 3 years and I'm now working basically entry-level jobs. I think a degree is just a piece of paper, but better to have it then not.

keep hating and you'll be working on someone else's convenience store for the rest of your life.
We all have our ups and downs man.
You just have to learn to get the best out of the moment jet.
But I agree. It can get on your nerves.

you should enjoy your school days. once you start working its forever. unless you inherit money or something.
i have a son thats in management at mcdonalds, he did not go to any college to speak of. he makes killer money, mcdonalds even has a bonus program.
sometime its who you know, not what you know.
but you should stay in school.
