I tried to reformat my computer by booting windows from the CD and now all my font is large. I have followed all troubleshooting tips on changing the font size but it is not working. I also am having trouble reinstalling my drivers. I put in the Utilities and Drivers CD that came with my computer but it didn't work. My warranty is up on my computer so I can't call dell. Can someone help?

As far as the font size, the problem is probably the screen resolution. Right click on a blank area on your desktop, and select properties.Go to the settings tab, and you'll have a scroll bar near the bottom. Move it to the right to select a higher resolution (smaller characters). That should fix that problem.

As for your drivers, first make sure that the hardware isn't already configured and working. (XP) recognizes a lot of hardware. If this doesn't work, go to the add hardware wizzard and when prompted, browse to the proper directory on the CD.
