Halloween is tomorrow, so what does it mean to you?
Do you trick or treat, or stay at home, have a party, gorge out on candy or something else?

Halloween for our family has rarely been about parties, trick-or-treating, or anything. We just stay home, have some family time, and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. Sometimes, if we bug our parents enough, they'll buy a bag of candy and that will serve as our Halloween candy.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. To be worried it is evil or from the devil and all that is to show you have no sense of humor. I never think it is evil-it's just fun!
It is an excuse for grown people to act like kids again. I love to be an ugly scarey witch, because I am so concerned about being NICE all the time.
I usually have at least one party to go to. If not, I throw one.
I usually have a haunted house to work in, or volunteer to do some sort of theatre production for Halloween. I have been a witch, and haunted hillbilly with a still, gypsy fortune teller, and Harry Potter character, and many others.
I love costuming, and usually have 5 or 6 to loan out at any given time.
I am one of the few who dress up for Halloween to come to work, and would take off work if not allowed to dress up!
Hardly ever eat candy, because I have to watch my weight. Some candy corn or peanut butter kisses, if anything.
Usually hubbie stays home and hands out candy. I go to the theater.
BOOOOOOO!

My parents won't allow me to do celebrate halloween. They think its evil. But I had to go to a halloween party 2 days ago cause I was volunteering there.I usually stay at home, look out the window in fastination, try to be content, try to sneak out.But this year I'm going to a Fall Festival. And I'm dressing up as Mother Nature so I can win the costume contest. But I don't like all that scary stuff on Halloween, thats why Christmas is my fave holiday!

In the UK All Hallows Eve is a Christian Holy Day preceding All Saints Day - another Holy Day on 1 November.

Changes to this have only been through commercial and media pressure from the States in the last few years.

I will be at work - nursing. Just hope there aren't too many people knocking and upsetting the dog or disturbing my family whilst I am out. Last year we had sweets just in case but no one called.

They say Christmas is just spending money, but there is a good meaning to Christmas. However, Halloween is a big money making scam, just for one day/night. I am not bothered about it at all. My husband takes the kids out trick or treating and I lock myself in and don't answer the door.

Normally, me and the women in the family take all the kids out Trick or Treating, then come back for a little party with all the family.

Party, party. But I did my Halloween party this last weekend (like I am sure most people did) so tomorrow is going to be pretty low key.

Its another money spinning idea that the shops are cashing in on to put pressure on parents to spend ,money just before bonfire night and Christmas. For most families money is tight with all bill spiralling out of control, on the other hand the children love it.
