Ideas for Betty and Veronica Halloween costume?

I'm and brunette and my best friend is blond so we want to go as Betty and Veronica from the Archie comic books and I would LOVE some cool and funny ideas and details to make our outfits really shine.

I would really appreciate some make-up ideas too!!

Now to your question. It's a tough one. You know that Veronica wears her brunette hair in a flip, or long and loose, whereas Betty wears a high ponytail. You also know that Betty dresses more casually than Veronica.

Study the characters and their clothing and wear outfits that contrast Betty's and Veronica's characters. In addition, wear signs that say "Betty" and "Veronica" in the style of the Archie Comics letterheads. Find a redhaired boy doll (or draw one on cardboard and cut him out), label him "Archie", and fight over him like a tug-of-war!
