STRANGEST NOISE: the explosion at Buncefield Oil Refinery in Hemel Hempstead just before Christmas last year. It started off as a sonorous crackle, travelling as shockwaves under a blanket of dense fog, giving the effect of it getting closer and closer. Then the 'finishing touch' was a thunderous boom which shook the whole house, and was heard as far as 300 miles away. I have never heard anything so strange in my life, and what's more, it was followed 20 minutes later by two further explosions.

STRANGEST THING EVER SEEN: Last year, I was holidaying in Paris and wondering where to go the following spring. I was in a shared dormitory with bunk beds. I turned my head to the right and saw the underside of one of the bunks. The random way the sheets had been tucked under the bed, showed the outline of The Americas - like a 'map' made of bed linen. It was not deliberate, and had to be seen to be believed.

The strangest noise I have ever heard would be the sound of two turtles mating. I didn't know they even made noises. I am not trying to be vulgar, but I had to watch it in science class years ago. They were making this horrific sound, like they were dying. Everyone was white from shock or embarrassment. The teacher, who had not seen the movie herself, was especially red in the face, because it happened to be the day the admin was evaluating our class. XD The strangest thing I have ever seen is a bit hard to choose. I have seen a few ghosts, but I think, the one thing that has startled me the most was this man. He was so obsessed with his inner animal (a cat) that he had surguries done to make him look like a true cat. Full body tatoos and whiskers implanted. Teeth changed and face full of whatever it is they put in breasts now a days, to make his upper lip have that cat look. Strange!

The strangest noise I've heard is the weird clapping sound I hear upstairs now and again when there's nobody up there. We used to live next door to an old man who came into our house in the middle of Christmas dinner having a heart attack. He died later in hospital. I think it's him trying to get our attention.

Strangest sight: I saw a blind man with a white stick walk smack-bang into a phone box. I couldn't stop laughing, even though I knew it was wrong. I'm smiling now! Thanks Mr Blind Man!
