There are gentlemen left my dear, you just have to know where to look. I would recommend coming down to the South, we breed gentlemen here. :)

There are still gentleman around, but they are not teenagers, and not in their early 20's either. Most are at least 30 and found in the south, from Texas to the Panhandle of Florida.

We still open doors for ladies, say yes and no sir or mam, stand when the flag passes, and never met a stranger. Its a way of life and the younger generation has failed to remember how to be a gentleman.

I think they are very rare... but I think because some women today are very rude, and take it for granted to have doors opened etc. for them, while also trying to be executives and as hard as nails, They can't have it both ways...men probably give up on that type. good luck,I'm sure you're not like that!

They are out there, you just have to know where to look. It is very rare that you will find one at a club. Try the library or a nice restaurant. or someplace unexpected.

They disappeared with Women's Lib and equality. It just wasn't worth the feminine rants you used to get for trying to help somebody.

I always remember when I was at university and a day it was raining. My friend said why don't any guys offer us their umbrella, chivalry is dead. A guy walking behind us asked, what is chivalry?
LOL, it really must be dead!
