Unfortunately, thanks to over a century of bad jurisprudence, the Supreme Court and many people in our government believe that separation of church and state is guaranteed by the Constitution. It wasn't. Thomas Jefferson himself indicated the government would intervene in situations where a religious group interfered with or outright violated a person's rights or civil liberties. He concluded by saying the "freedom of religion" portion of the First Amendment was designed to ban the Federal Government from establishing a "state religion" (much like Henry VIII did in England) and hindering the practice of religion by a particular group solely on the basis that said religion was not "recognized" by the Federal Government.

I believe that human society is headed toward a culminating battle of good vs. evil. It's important to consider this as a viable take on reality, and to consider which "side" one might want to be
on. To take it a step further, I also believe that Islam is a religion
created by Satan unto himself (aka "Allah"). Whether it's politically correct or not, this may be truth. If it is, then it is imperative that our leaders be in tune with the Creator of our Universe; our existence as we know it may be more threatened than we realize.... At the risk of sounding like a Bible-thumper, please consider the claims of Christ; He is either telling the truth or the biggest liar that ever lived. You decide....

Our forefathers mixed religion and government all of the time. Liberal judges have raped our constitution and inserted this in themselves.
What the constitution says is that there is to be no officially santioned state run religion.
If you really believe that our forefathers had in mind the ACLU's views of religion in our country, you are sadly mistaken.
Do you really think that Washington, Jefferson, Franklin and the other founders, who made reference to God all of the time, would have EVER endorsed what we are doing today, where we tell our High School graduates that it is illegal for them to even mention Jesus in our speeches?

What we have today is pure discrimination. Our schools are free to indactrinate our children with athiest theology, while at the same time our children are punished for reading the Bible in school? (Yes, this is really happening)

Do you actually research your questions before you type them? The Athiests shouldn't be citizens was by his father, not him, according to the athiest web site. The other quote has not been determined that W said it so I would respectfully suggest you do a little homework before you ask a question.

It is called the US Constitution and free speech.

Or do you think that free speech is just so homosexuals can parade around like clowns on crack for their week at Disney World?

Because if God lets a stupid, self-indulgent draftdodger become anything but a wino living under a bridge, He must love Bush and his class and hate everybody else in America.
