If she did not have a problem before with the formula I would not attribute it to the formula. She may not be ready for solids or may be having a reaction to the solids you are giving her.
Does she spit out the food with her tongue and can she sit up in a highchair? If not, she probably is not physically ready for solids.
As far as the solids are concerned, are you giving her one new food at a time and waiting at least 5-7 days before the introduction of something new? It could be she is allergic to what you are feeding her and if you are giving her lots of different things then you will not know what it is that she is reacting to.
Something else to consider is maybe cut back on the formula. When you start solids they are not going to be as hungry. If she is giving you signals that she needs to eat after an hour of feeding her solids then maybe try 3-4 oz of formula and see if that helps.
If all else fails call the pediatrician.
Good Luck!

Just because your baby is 6 months old does not mean she is ready for food. Now I do not know much about formula fed babies, but breastfed babies have no nutritional need for solids AT ALL until the are at least 12 months old. (I am not saying that they can't or shouldn't eat solids, I am just saying that they will not become malnurished without them). If your baby doesn't have the "pincer" grasp (the ability to pick up bite sized foods and put them in her mouth herself there is a good chance she isn't ready. Foul smelling poo is also a sign that she isn't ready.
Also I am going to go out on a limb and assume that you started with cereals. Grains are very hard to digest, even rice, even rice cereal. Commerical grain cereals are also full of synthetic vitamins which are hard to digest. You may want to try fruit or veg.

Sounds like she just might need to adjust to the food. If she never had a spitting up/vomiting problem before, chances are she just needs some time to get use to it. And don't over feed, that was my problem sometimes. Her tummy is still really little and if she isn't digesting the food as quickly as her formula, she might still be full. Let her guide you to when she needs to eat. When I started food with my son, I use to try to give him a bottle after he ate and he would just cry, then puke it up on me. It took me a while to figure out that he wasn't hungry enough for the food and the bottle.

Is it so undesirable that she throw -up and lands around the room? regardless of if that's fairly forful, it ought to be pyloric stenosis. This condition inflicting the muscle between the tummy and intestines to close previously or in keeping with possibility some months as quickly as they're born inflicting her to throw up violently. Or she ought to be eating to lots at as quickly as. My son did a similar component for 3 months and be attentive to one knew why. He enjoyed that sucking and didnt end whilst he became finished so all his foodstuff got here back up. So I gave him 2oz much less at a time and gave him a p.c.. to calm him.

You're overfeeding her.
Solid foods take longer to digest so they are staying in her stomach longer. When you're giving her the formula, the solids are still in her stomach and her stomach is being filled too much. Before she was on solids, there was little to nothing in her stomach so there was room for the formula. Now, she's being overfed which is why she's throwing up.

It sounds like it could be acid reflux. I don't think your are overfeeding her. Have her checked by her pediatrician. My son had it and it was no big deal we took some meds for a short time and he grew right out of it. Hope you both are doing well.

You may be feeding her too much. You could try burping her about half way through the bottle.
What kind of solids are you feeding your child? Unless its baby food, avoid it.

Maybe try switching her to soy or if she is on soy switch her to milk. Sometime the food and the milk do not mix
