mine are wolf, fox, and lepord.
Wolf: loyality, strength
Fox: trickster
Lepord: clam and ready to fight if need to.

mine are dog and goat.
dog- loyalty
goat - practical wisdom, diplomacy, and hard work
I have both animal types and feel a special connection with them.
Great question. I'd also like to hear how people earned/chose their animal totems. it sonds like some people on here could use some help with that last part. Here is an article that may help you to discover your animal totem.

I am a Leo so I guess mine would be a lion. I am not very educated in totem lore so I don't really know how to find out, but it sure would be fun.

Mines a crow. They are survivors, intelligent, and compltely aware of their surroundings.
there are traditional meanings for totem animals and spirit guides, but i look at what they mean for the individual more.

mine change as I need them to..I have had spiders, lady bugs, cats a wolf once and ants....dolphins....they all do have a common theme it is just finding it and realizng it...
