Hate Me, Blue October, great song. He is talking about how isolated he is from the world and how his mom or his girlfriend also just left him.

you want an explanation for the whole song? really it's open for interpretation, but here's mine:
it's about feeling like you're not good enough to be loved by the person that loves you. you would rather them hate you because it would make you feel less guilty of all the things you've done wrong. and you would rather leave them forever, than cause any more pain. because you love that person, that much.
watch the video. it portrays a mother and son, and it makes since.

Isn't that song by Hinder off of Extreme Behavior??
Good song! (If it's the one I'm talking about)
No offense, but why do you have to know the meaning?? I mean the meaning that you get from a song might be different from someone elses. And you may find that your meaning of it maybe TOTALLY different than the original artist intended. Just an idea
Love, Peace, Happiness

It is about a guy who had a drug habit that broke ties with someone that he loved because it was the best thing for the both of them. Because he was hurting her by not kicking his habit and be the man he should've been to her, so he left. Now that he's gotten sober she still wants to be with him but he can't because, even though he loves her, he doesn't want to hurt her again. And he can't trust himself to stay sober with her there.

The song is about a man who know s he is wrong for the girl who loves him. It would be better for her to hate him, and get over it, than to keep loving him.

It's about someone who helped him get off drugs. He talks about how becoming clean was like killing himself but that person was there for him throughout it all.

I would say it's about a very bad breakup, involving an alchoholic, even suicidal person.
And yet, you like this song?
