I have "moments" all the time, and my bf thinks it's so cool, but my family thinks it's weird (they're overly superstitious). Anyway, I don't think I'm "pyschic" like on TV and in the movies, but I'm very observant and perceptive, so it makes other, not-so-perceptive people think I'm in tune with "the other side."
The latest "incident" was when we were at a book signing at the Second City. Right before it started, we heard some raucous in the hallway. I said, "Man, that sounds like a freakin' baby shower!" (which was a weird statement to make since I've only been to two baby showers, when I was younger). Anyway, when it was quiet, and the noisemakers finally joined us in the audience, one of them was heavily pregnant! The other people in the audience that overheard my comment stared at me a little, like, "Whoa". LOL. It wasn't that big a deal to me. I personally found it funny.
