I see that items from the Titanic have turned up in auction houses in the U.S. as the ship is an official grave of over 1500 people, it makes you wonder who the items for sale belonged to. Much of course belongs to the shipping line( a wooden deck chair is expected to fetch $50,000). It has been claimed that there is evidence of a submarine having been near the wreck. These items have been plundered by`unofficial` divers apparently.Once again greed takes precedence over respect. I am not superstitious so I do not see any omen in the two dates
However I think we would be naive not to expect something `un-sporting ` to happen at these games, seeing what busy little bees terrorists are. With this in mind perhaps they should learn something from the 1972 Olympics, terrorists struck then, and the whole world hated them, this was the start of the world against the terrorist. Should there be any interuption of the 2012 games, it will be the world and his wife against them. So may their Allah help them, no one else will.

On 21 January 1854, an iron clipper, the Tayleur wrecked off Lambay Island, with a important death. On 27 January 1954, a British collier, the Wallace Rose sank in the Thames estuary canal following a collision off. 8 of her ten team have been killed. To make comparisons between tragedies is perverse.
