Then some hidden person will be eating a cheeseburger, fries and a coke, while they watch and hear every thing little thing you do?
will we be safe then?
If they know you had a fight with your mate? Or yelled at your kids?
or watch a TV show that was deemed anti-establishment and you didn't even know it?
Don't we pay enough tax, and pay for everything, to be allowed some privacy -
Your finances are watched, now your phones, next are mics and cameras -
so we can all sit and monitor each other, and report everyone who has the slightest annoying thing they do.
what a bright future-
Oh but please shop and go about your life "as though" everything is fine-
or else the "evil doers" will have won!
Will that make us all safer?

Spot on.
A perfect answer to the fools who let us be monitored with ever increasing scrutiny - chirping out "if you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear"
"if you have done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear" has not been proved to be true in RECENT human history has it?
Jews, gay men, catholics and protestants have all been killed without "doing anything wrong"
In some parts of the world, supporting the "wrong" political party can get you killed.
No, we should have our privacy, just don't expect it with Bush and Bliar (sic)

No, this doesn't sound legal to me. As a tenant (who I assume is keeping current on paying rent and complying with your terms of the lease?), you have legal right to occupy the house and a reasonable expectation of privacy therein. It's the same reason that a landlord is required to provide advance notice (usually 24 hours) before entering for any non-emergency. Take down or disconnect the camera if you can find it, then move out. Or have some fun with it; try goosestepping around the kitchen while wearing a white hood and swastika, or pretend to run a meth lab while actually baking lemon squares.

The NSA intercept program only targeted international calls, not wholey domestic communication. Additionally, the courts have upheld the law that the President has the right to do warrentless wiretaps for foreign intelligence purposes many, many times. With the creation of FISA it will have to decided again. It is now at the 6th Circuit who will overturn the Detroit ruling and it will be legal. Most importantly, it will not be new. Bush isn't the first President to do this. They all did.

I can UNDERSTAND the reason for eavesdropping on telephone calls and emails of SUSPECTED terrorists from overseas. I do not UNDERSTAND a reason for having my house bugged. I do not UNDERSTAND your reasoning. If you have nothing to hide, why would you object to a telephone call being monitored? This is not about annoyances. This is about mortal safety of Americans.

The wiretapping program only affects those who are making out of country calls. Go read 1984 a few more times

Fine, and like I said before, I have nothing to hide.
If they get into my bedroom, well, hope they had a thrill,
Still, it may be for the better of the country.
Also, Alex is right. Learn the facts!!!!

You are failing to distinguish surveillance in public and in private. BIG difference.
You have virtually zero privacy in public; you have significantly more in your home.
___
Alex B: one of the parties must also be a terrorist or have some connection to terror.

Sounds like MTV's Real World.
Would there be a camera in the bathroom too?
I don't believe anyone is proposing anything remotely like what you outlined.

Even though I have nothing to hide, do you really care about my boring life?
