Nah... I don't think they're completely useless. Do you have grandparents? If so, do they hate you? They should always want the best for you-I hope. I guess you're very young and you forget you'll be old too one day? You want YOUR rights to get taken away? Silly rabbit.

If you'd put down your skateboard and your crack pipe and stir up political interest in your age group, you may be able to negate the opinions of these old 'senile' people you speak of... or would that be too much like work for you?!

who decides when you're senile?..P.S Notyou311, Actually your country isn't the only country undervaluing seniors, Most western countries do. They ask them to fight for the fatherland and then take away their pensions to pay for their care, they tax the pensions of healthy pensioners. When people who've worked their whole life and struggled FINALLY get to take it easier, why do we try to break their backs? I say when you've worked for 40 years or more you should get lodgings, a basic pension free of tax,a transport pass and free energy for the rest of....And don't anyone tell me we can't afford it, we only have to spend less money on bombs and guns etc.

America is a democratic country and EVERYONE has the right to vote!!! You seem like a person who would like to have a "class" society and I am afraid you are in the wrong country. Feel free to move elsewhere!

This is probably the only country in the world that doesn't value the wisdom of senior citizens. Instead we cater to teens who have no idea of how the world works. Sad.

Your words are a bit harsh, but your point is well taken. The problem with American politics these days is NOT that we don't have enough voters going to the polls, but rather we have TOO MANY. We don't need more voters, we need more EDUCATED voters!
