Do you have dial-up? Perhaps it is time to get DSL or a cable modem.
-------------------------------------------
Bandwidth: The amount of data that can be passed along a communications channel in a given period of time.
====edit====
If you have DSL, and still not enough bandwidth, either you need a new computer, or you need a Cable Modem.

bandwidth is the "size of the pipe" feeding you data.
For example Dialup is 52K, DSL is 640K to 3Mb, Cable can be higher 1.5Mb.
So they are saying you need a faster connection. Connections are technically not faster, but "fatter!"

'Bandwidth' has several meanings. In this case it means 'channel capacity', the amount of data (in binary bits/digits, 0 or 1) that you can download from the internet per second. This is determined by which service you have signed-up to with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) (AOL, etc.).
This can range from a very slow dial-up connection at 56000 bits-per-second (56K), through a basic broadband connection at 512,000 bits per second (called 512K for kilobits per second), up to the fastest broadband connection at 8,000,000 bits per second (called 8Mbps or 8MB or 8MEG).
To watch videos at a high resolution, its best to go for the fastest broadband connection that you can afford (at least 1 or 2MB). The 8MB connections aren't available to everyone, you need to live within about 2 miles of your telephone exchange).
To upgrade, you need to contact your Internet Service Provider by phone/email/website and upgrade to a faster service. If you're changing from a dial-up service which uses an ordinary phone-line to broadband, the Internet Service Provider will need to arrange for an ISDN box to be installed in your house and they will tell you what else needs to be done to switch over.

No. You have to upgrade your service with your ISP. This usually entails giving them more money every month.
