Trying to stop the hate by accepting people for who they are, their beliefs, values, culture differences and racial differences. After all when it boils down to it we're all human. One of a kind and fighting for everyday survival in this world. Its nice to lend a helping hand once in a while and just sit and listen to what someone has to say. Be as open minded as you can. Its a harsh world out there and we need each other despite everything.

Teaching my children the important things iin life: caring about others, and caring about thier self. Hopefully if they can truely come to like themselves they will stay away from the drugs, gangs, and the trouble that the world can bring. By caring about others they will learn how it feels good to just have helped somebody else and expect nothing in return.
If people don't have kids be a mentor to other kids. Changing this world is going to start with the children.
Nobody came into this world by themselves and they can't survive alone. Become a dependable, trustworthy person.
Take the time to enjoy nature, the noise the leaves make as they are blowingin the tree limbs, maybe then we wouldn't be cutting down all our trees, appreciate the beauty of a lake or stream, so we could want to find a reason to stop some of the pollution. There is so much that can be done but first we have to learn to work together. Good question and GOOD LUCK in doing your part, since by your question u care.

Well it's not so much making this world a better place more than trying to give back. I'm volenteering at a nursing home. My grandparents were everything to me & now that they're gone I want to take care of the elder because without them we wouldn't be here

Being an example of what people should be doing. Helping without a desire for compensation. A kind word here and there. Helping someone to laugh and so forth. Sometimes the simplest acts of kindness can be the ones with the most profound impact on others.

Sounds cheesy but I try to make everyone around me a little happier. Family, friends, coworkers - I try to make them laugh or let them know I care. Even strangers in the grocery store, I try to make eye contact and say hello or just politely smile. Doesn't always work, but it's good to try!
Random acts of kindness are pretty nice too - you never know when someone will return the favor and it feels great!

I do work for the blind. I'm planning to get involved in work with the homeless too.
I think that the best way to make a big difference is to get involved in politics and non profit organizations. I'm not very good at politics though.

Kindness. I am not good at grand gestures or politics, but I feel that being kind is vitaly inportant in this crazy world. I hope that those I am kind to are encouraged to be kind to others in return.

smile! Everyone needs to know that someone noticed them, especially people that look down. I try to say hi and just let them feel like they matter. It's free and easy to do!
