Go to "Format" on the tool bar at the top of the page, click on "Font" and choose from the "Effects", and there are options for "strike through" and "underline" (tick the little boxes) - use this and it will create a constant line through or under each word and the spaces in between too.

There are different menus that you can bring down. There should be a picture of a square, triangle etc. on your top bar, if you click on that it will open the drawing toolbar. From that, you will see a button with a line on it, click on that and you can choose from a number of different lines and adjust it so that it stretches across the page.

Add a line
On the Drawing toolbar, click AutoShapes, point to Lines, and then click the line style you want.

Drag to draw the line.
To constrain the line to draw at 15-degree angles from its starting point, hold down SHIFT as you drag.

To lengthen the line in opposite directions from the first end point, hold down CTRL as you drag.

Tip If you just want to draw a straight line, click Line on the Drawing

I always create a table with one cell, one row, then remove the top and side lines so it leaves you with a bottom one.
