Alright, I was talking to my friend who said that the flash would run around Green Lantern so fast that it would shatter his ring, or something. He said it happened in a show. But I think that GL would encase Flash in a bubble, stopping him. What do you think?

Green Lantern would kick The Flash right in his money maker. Oh forget about it. G.L. had the ability to create anything his mind thinks with the help of that ring. The Flash is strong and fast but, I don't think the falsh is near fash enough to out think, or witt G.L.

AS fast as the Flash is, Green Lantern is MORE poweful! He can travel thru space. Havent seen Flash do that! GL has unlimited power just a THOUGHT away! Sure Flash can RUN and think fast BUT how about thinking of it THIS way? Michael Johnson, the worlds fastest man (track star, at one point he was the fastest) but can he outrun a man with a gun and bullet? So can Flash with ALL his speed stand up to the power that can move heal suns? Create any shape? even HURT superman! I do remember GL fighting Superman and Superman won ONLY because HIS will was stronger then Hal Jordans. SOOOOO Odds r against the Flash because i dont think HIS will is stronger then Hal. I mean the current Flash Wally West, LOL he was once controlled by Raven to join the New Teen Titans. So much for will power there LOL GREEN LANTER BEATS THE FLASH HANDS DOWN!

Green Lantern's ring is (technically) indestructable. This fight can go either way, since Flash thinks at lightspeed. (As referenced In "JLU"). He can think faster than GL, but GL's ring is only limited by his willpower and imagination (and the ring's charge), so Green Lantern has more versatile attacks at his disposal. Int he end though I give it to an A-List Green Lantern (like John Stewart or Hal Jordan) since they are no longer limited by the "Yellow Impurity" failsafe in their rings, and they have more of a military background then the Flashes (Wally West and Walter West for example) do.

Flash has moved so fast on various occassions that he has moved from one dimension to another. Nothing GL can throw at him can contain him especially since portions of his costume are yellow. This doesn't mean Flash wins, GL can fly into space where Flash can't touch him.

Flash could solo this. Goku is mach 1000 at best. Flash is faster than light. That's a minimum difference of 880x. And I don't think you know this, but Flash can do a lot more than run fast. Anyways fight starts, Flash steals Goku's speed, rendering him motionless. Flash walks over and vibrates his hand through Goku's head. Goku's brain explodes. End fight.

green lantern could possibly win, if he was sneaky enough to encase flash in a light prison before flash was aware of his intentions. I'm not sure if flash can vibrate through solid light particles.
