I mean more than just geographically. I am from KY and I believe that KY is wholey and purelly southern, and if you think other wise I think you're full of ****. I live on the TN line and I think the people in TN are not as southern as we are in Ky. Several years ago my cousin moved to Nashville from KY and the people down there made fun of her southern drawl so nowadays she talks as proper somebody from the Midwest all because that Nashville talk rubbed off on her!

I definitely believe it is southern.

Yes culturally it is Southern but geographically it is North to me.

i always thought kentucky was a western state. isn't it inbetween california and oregon? at what age to you learn to drawl (draw) in kentucky? another name i've heard for it is:
PENNSYLTUCKY.
