Hi Andospandos.
Firstly, as other posters have asked, have you worn them outside? Are they marked? Are they in saleable condition, ie Do you still have the box? Are they as they were when you bought them?
Secondly, did you buy them reduced because their was something wrong with them, ie, sold as seen, no return?
If you bought them as a normal sale and they are unsuitable for you, then as long as they are perfect, you CAN have either a refund or an exchange. If the store you bought them from DISPLAYS prominently a disclaimer stating that they don't refund but will offer you an exchange, then I'm afraid thats all you can have, an exchange, but you ARE entitled to it. If there is no disclaimer in black and white and it doesn't say so on your receipt, then by law you are entitled to your money back. If you have no joy on your return, give your local trading standards a ring, or the companies head office. The last thing they want is to deal with an un-happy customer, they will tell the store to give you your money back and may send you something else too to make sure they keep you as a customer.
GOOD LUCK X

The Sale of Goods Act means that shops must offer a refund on faulty goods. This does not apply to goods which are perfect, but where the purchaser changes his / her mind about buying them. They are obliged to give a refund if the shoes are faulty, but not if they're just the wrong size for your feet.

Most shops consider it good customer relations to at least exchange goods in such circumstances. I guess that shoe shop's just lost one customer.

yes and no...

did you wear the shoes outside? if yes then no, you cannot return them. if you wore them at home around the house then yes....you can return them. aslong as you were in the stores returns policy (ie-one week or month to return)

tell her that they were a gift for someone and they do not fit-you have your reciept and tell her that your rights as a customer enitles you to a full refund as the shoes are unsuitable, and if there is a problem could they please show you where the sign is exactly tat shows you you cannot return the items... if they cannot provide you with such information then tell them that you are going to go to write a written complaint to both the store manager AND trading standards (its important to mention them) as you strongly feel you are being discriminated against (ageist, racist, ect) and that your rights are being exploited

hope that helps...

p.s dont forget to note the name of the person dealing with you

x

No! If you have the receipt, then there is nothing she can do! Well, unless is one of this shops that states that no refunds are given.. Even the shops that don't give the money back do exchange, and plus, what kind of customer service is that?

It depends on the store's return policy. Do you still have your receipt? Check it, and look for the return policy. It might be printed on the back. If not, go to the store and look for any signs posted about returns. If you don't see anything, ask to speak to the manager. If they refuse, that's just bad business and don't shop there anymore.

Check your receipt and see is the stores policy on it, it usually is. I dont think there is much you can do as they are only obliged to change faulty goods or goods not fit for sale, your shoes simply dont fit and thats not the stores fault but your own im sorry to say. if your still unhappy call the store and ask to speak to the manager, and remember the sales assistant was only doin her job, company policy is not for her to change.

Probably not. Did you wear the shoes?
Does it specify "no refunds" on your receipt?

Call the store & ask them their refund policy. That should help you determine if you should get your money back.

It depends on the store's return policy. Do they have a posted policy? Did you wear the shoes outside? I would go in and speak with a supervisor.

Demand your shoes are replaced, ask to speak to the store manager and tell them you will take further action if they dont, speak to thier head office or citizen advise..... just to scare them!!
