I had a tubal ligation in Feb. of 1996. Within this past week I have not been feeling right at all. I am very tired, I have had almost daily headaches, heartburn, sore breast's and My face is breaking out with acne. My husband is convinced that I am pregnant. I however say no way, because of the tubal I had in 1996. I know that it's possible, after reading up on it on the internet. If I am I am now worried with an ectopic pregnancy. My period is not quite due. My last one started the 1st week of Oct.,but since my tubal they have always been very irregular. I thought about buying a home test, since some say they can detect even the tiniest bit of HCG in your urine. Now he has me wondering could I be? Has any other women who've had tubals become pregnant after them? Maybe I am going crazy here, who knows. I just know other than the missed period I do have all of the earliest symptoms. I even started having mild nausea 4 days ago, but it occurs in the afternoon and evenings.
TIA.

Well I am 34, so I think peri menopause is not the reason. I had my tubes cut and burned(as far as I know. This is what the Dr. told me he was doing)
It's just strange, because right around the time I started not feeling right is when my husband started telling me he sensed it. With my Daughter's my symptoms started very early(before I missed my period), but with my son I had very little. I had 3 kids at a young age, and had the tubal done when my youngest was almost 3. I have been married now for 7 yr's and with him for a total of 10 yr's. This is the 1st time he has ever brought something like this up to me. It could be something different making me feel this way, as I know there are other issues out there which would cause pregnancy like symptoms. "If" I am,my next concern would be a tubal pregnancy. That is why I wish there was a test out there(other than blood) which could detect a tiny amount of HCG.

One last thing here. Back in 1999 I was having a lot of pelvic pain, and I saw my GYN 6 times within a 3 month period. They did an ultrasound at the time, but it didn't really show anything. My GYN suspected endometriosis, but the only way to definately determine if this is what it was, was to do a laprascopic procedure. Stupid me chickened out, and never had the lap. done. Eventually the pain decreased. I had other signs of it, such as the tipped uterus too. Anyway I read online that some women who have endo. and have had tubal's have had times when the scar tissue from the endo. causes the tubes to actually open back up. Not saying this has happened with me, but after reading that it does make me wonder.
Now my husband is making me go insane with this. The questions and wondering "if" my friend will show up next week is now driving me nuts. Makes me want to knock him out. LOL

If there is a faint line then something is going on, If your pregnant then it could be an ectopic. The faint line tells me it is. The line should be brighter, not faint. You missed a period. Then this HPT could be picking up something else in your urine that is triggering a positive. Sometimes sugar in the urine could be giving you a false reading. Do you have diabetes? You should consult with your doctor. I had two ectopic pregnancies within three years of each other. You will usually feel a sharp pain on the side the ectopic is on and you will feel these pains by the sixth week of pregnancy.
