She just wants to be friends whether she is attracted to you or not is not the issue - - would you feel any better if we told you that she isn't attracted to you?
If she is your bestfriend keep it that way and respect her wish to remain friends pushing her into a place she doesn't feel comfortable could ruin your friendship...
I had a best guy friend who started liking me and even after I told him that I just wanted to remain friends he continued hitting on me and it ruined our friendship it became so irritating!
Yes he was attractive - but 1. I know him - - everything about him how he is in relationships, and with other girls (he's a dogg).
2. he's like family UGH he's my bestfriend there's no other explaination to it - - but then again I do want my lover to be my bestfriend so I understand where your coming from but basically it doesn't have to be all about attraction for her reason to want to remain friends just respect her wishes....

I think that she is not feeling the same attraction that you are and wants to be friends. It doesn't mean she thinks you're ugly, chemistry between people is not completely based on looks.
Good friends are so hard to come by; I would keep her as one and maybe her opinion will change some day!

Toughest thing for a guy to learn is....respect her wishes. If friends is all she wants, then be a friend. Don't hang around so much... see other women, have fun. Be glad she is being honest. The alternative is that she lies and has no feelings for you. But, I would wager that as soon as you start being seen other women.... that friends thing will start to change.

Both, she could really charish your friendship or she really does not want to be with you. You should ask her and not us. Tell her you want the honest truth and regardless what she says you will still be her friend. And if she is not honest with you she is not a good friend as she claims to be.

for now friendship is all she wants ... i doubt she'll change her mind, she may be trying to tell you nicely that she isn't interested but she's right ... many good frienships are ruined by dating.
