Me and my husband want to take our 6 month old trick-or-treating this Halloween, just for fun, to dress him up. If we knocked on your door with a baby in a stroller and a candy bag would you give us candy? Even though you knew the parents are getting the candy, not the baby?

I would, I also have a 6 month old baby and I think this halloween is more for the parents than the kid, so I hope you get lots of candy and enjoy
I also like the idea of the parents dressing up, are you doing it?

Our baby was 3 weeks old last year and we only took her to peoples houses that we knew so they could see her. She was a cowgirl. I personally did not want candy, it's really a holiday for children and babies don't eat candy. I would not give you candy and I don't give candy to teenagers that only come with a pillow case or someones grandmother that's out walking the neighborhood with the rest of the "tribe".

Most of the time I think parents with children that young do dress their babies up but only take them around to see people they know, who do get a kick out of seeing them all dressed up and probably do give them candy. I would. But I don't think you should take him all over the place just so you can have fun. Take him to see people who know him and will appreciate the visit!

Of course I would. Halloween isn't just for the kids, I think it's a great idea to take your baby out. We took my niece out last year when she was a couple of months old. She had a ball and saw all of the spooky costumes and so this year she's not afraid. In fact she actually laughs at the monsters we've built in our front lawn.

I would, but you'd get the candy that we've reserved for the kids who didn't dress up. 6 months is a little young to be out in the cold.

Yes Parents eat most of the candy anyway.

Yes....and I think it's a great way for others to see your new baby, and for you and your husband to share in Halloween.

Go and have fun...perhaps get a little dressed up yourselves!!!

I wouldn't. You're old enough to go to the store and buy your own candy.

I personally dont "do" halloween...

I dont give out candy for "trick or treaters"

I dont believe in satanism and giving the devil "his day"...

If I did, I would give you candy...

I wish you well..
