Not only will Crosby lead the league in scoring but they'll also win the cup in the future. I see them doing great for a long, long time.

They really didn't bring malkin in so they could play them on the same line. The idea was more of a 1-2 punch at center ice because they are both center-men. Crosby proved that he is as capable at the NHL level as he was in the Q. Notching a 100pt season last year. Obviously you elevate the company around him it will give him more opportunities to put the puck in the net or dish it to someone that will. I like the idea of having them on the same line, but that won't be a permanent thing. I don't think Crosby or Malkin will lead the league in scoring, but I also don't believe that is their primary objective. If they can both have good seasons on both sides of the puck it going to help them do something a lot more important then winning a scoring title its going to propel them into the playoffs to get a shot at playing for the cup which is every NHL players and teams primary objective.

Crosby and Malkin can finish 1-2 in scoring if they're kept together. I can't think of any reason they should be separated if they're playing so well together. Sometime in his career Crosby can reach 160-175 points, but I don't think this year. He's only in his second year. Gretzky reached 160 points in his third season. Mario did it in his fourth season.

He could lead the keague, you have to wonder if Malkin plays all year though. Maybe you didn't hear the Russians did file a suit in America. As to Crosby yeah in his carrer he will proably reach a 160 pt season.

I dont think either one of them really cares at this point, with both of them on the same line I believe that they both could be in the top 5. With their call to keep their #2 pick on the second line for the rest of the season they Pens will finally get back where they belong the playoffs and then the Stanley Cup.

i think k-chuk just had a good week, your looking past what they ended the season with, crosby is phenomanal with malkin and the chemistry is finnally back in pittsburgh 160 points is pretty far-fetched now-a-days man maybe tho maybe

No.

There are to many good players in the league. I think Kovalchuk will win the scoring race.
