I have gay male friends and they radiate positive energy and they always make me laugh and they're so much fun.

We're fun to be with because we're not afraid to laugh at ourselves, unlike a lot of straight guys. We were made to be best friends with straight women because we have a similar goal- to be attractive and liked by men! Which means a lot of guy spotting and going out and having good times based around this. What amazes me is how so many women on this site have a problem with gay guys- what's up with that? We are no threat to you, we're not going to take your man away from you (unless he's one of us), and we are loyal friends, we're not going to come onto you. Not you my dear, just some women on here. Straight men, well, I expect them to be that way and when they're not, amazement! Maybe I live in a very big bubble but i have never come across a woman who has had a problem with me, and I work with tonnes of straight guys who are totally cool with it- I come from New Zealand, do I live in a tolerant country or something?

If what you say is true then why not. I am a straight person, but have nothing against anyone that isn't. They are loads of laughs every time we get around them.
I don't judge anyone. I look at the personality, honesty and always look at the heart through the eyes. The eyes can say a million words without any one saying anything.
Try not to categorize any person. If they are fun to be around then by all means be with them and enjoy life. You only go around once in this lifetime.

I only know one, Scott Michaels who runs findadeath.com and dearly departed tours in LA. He is a great guy and fun to be with. He is also Graham Norton's ex.
I worked with 2 gay guys from 1986-1992 at a mail sorting facility. They hit the lottery a few years back for 59 million. Now they are rich gay guys.

why do you need us? You've already answered your own question. However, people that radiate positive energy and are fun to be around aren't always gay, nor are they always male.

Sorry, I just feel the opposite. They seem to have fun and all but they just kinda gross me out. I get the eebie jeebies so bad. If one actually touched me I'm afraid I'd rip his throat out.
I really don't like the fact that I feel that way. I just do. Which is oddly the same answer that one gave me when I asked him how he could be gay. Maybe I'll get over it someday.
But hey, don't let me spoil your fun. Good for you for having a more open mind than me.

i think you are making a bit of a prejudicial remark here. i am sure there are some really depressing and not fun to be with gay guys too.
i think, however, that some are how you describe because having charisma and being able to make light of things are great defense mechanisms in a world that isn't always easy. it makes life easier to live.
they embrace joy instead of despair. most people who do that are fun to be around be they gay or straight.

B/c its funny seeing them act like somthing they arent and to us straight ppl we get a kick out of it, but I looooov my gay guy freinds they rock and i would not trade them for any other

because they are the opposite sex of u.they r not just like one of your girlfriends,they r fun to be around.it's all most like they understand u,they r really funny.they can be your best friend
