"The Lords of Discipline" - A movie about a southern military college adapted from the Conrad novel. It was filmed in England because no military college would allow them to film on their campus due to script having a definite negative view of the military college system. So, they filmed at an English boarding school instead.

I also believe parts of one of the Superman movies (II or III, not sure which) was also filmed largely in England.

Edit - I forgot about Batman Begins. Yes, parts were filled in England (and much of it in Chicago).

Large chunks of the Todd Haynes film 'Velvet Goldmine' were meant to be set in New York but were actually filmed in Croydon lol
