GAY MARRIAGE? IT DOESN'T EFFECT ME IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM SO WHY SHOULD I LET IT BOTHER ME? BESIDES ISN'T A BAN ON GAY MARRIAGE A RELIGIOUS THING? SO WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT STEPPING AND MAKING LAWS AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE? DID THEY NOT HEAR OF SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE? SO...TWO GAYS CAN WALK INTO A COURTHOUSE AND GET MARRIED BY A JUDGE, NO RELIGION INVOLVED THERE...

totally agree ..... what I don't agree on is waiting in line to get one ceasar salad in McDonalds for like 45 minutes because the fat lady in front can't decide if she wants 48 Big Mac's or 15 QuaterPounders

I feel like this, the government should never make laws that discriminate against anyone. Therefore, to add an amendment to the constitution that says gay people can not get married is ridiculous and a borderline abuse of power. To ban gay marriage would go against everything this country supposedly stands for. whats next, a ban on interracial marriage? What would a ban on gay marriage prove anyway? would the country be better off? would it stop terrorism? would it end the war? With all the things going on in the world right now, the last thing i want the president worrying about is gay marriage. This is just an issue meant to distract the public from whats really going on. There is nothing wrong with gay marriage let them do what they want and everybody else should mind there own business, Especially the government.

I am for gay marriage, I do believe the government is out of line denying rights to some but not others, the others being religious fanatics. It needs to be changed. unfortunately there are people in this world who are more concerned about how it will effect them and continue to make up ridiculous statements, such as two gay parents will raise only gay children and in turn they will have gay children and pretty soon we will all be gay and you know what that means...no more procreation!! OMG what will we do? Gay is not a freaking disease people, you will not catch it..I promise. Just remember the majority of people who are against it are also going by the word of primitive men (bible) They pick and choose what they want out of that revolting book and go with it. What can you expect from people who suffer from retardation?

I really dont see a big deal in it my self. If this country is a free one why cant gay people get married? Gosh, they act like its the biggest sin! They need to stop judging because no matter how much they want to be, they will never be, God!

I would generally tell you to get serious questions the heck out of P and S, but I'll just say that the religious types are the ones who put the Republicans into office so the current government has to appease them. That is why.

I'm against gay marriage. But I'm also against the gov't stepping in. I'm also a little against the gov't passing "safety" laws. What business is it to the gov't if I die if it's my choice?
