I did the MENSA IQ test and they told me that the average IQ was around 108 so if you achieved 120 you're above average.
To be considered a genius you need an IQ of 180 or over.

Actually a score of 100 is DEFINED as the average. It gets calibrated every so often and varies slightly depending on who's administering the test.
A score of 120 puts you in the top 10% so I'd say that's very good. Another 10 points and you'd be in the top 2% of the population and thus become eligible to enter MENSA (the most famous international high IQ society).

Just as a footnote to all this wonderful enlightenment, it is not true that IQ drops when you have kids. I took the official test again after I had mine, and it came out the same as before - since there was a 10 year gap between the 2 tests, I must have got smarter in real terms.

To get a better idea of your general IQ levels it needs to be professionally administered over several days.
90-110 is generally where most people fall.
Anything above that is consiered a bit gifted and below could indicate learning disabilities or that you had a bad day of testing
