Like for instance, the drive thrus in the fast food places, why are people 2 lazy to go inside and order the food.
Also, why do people drive to their mailboxes instead of walking 2 minutes to it
Not to mention, the stores, why do people park close to the stores and not far away so it forces them to walk and excercise (and don't say cuz you have a lot of stuff, which you have your shopping cart for that).

Well, I drive now because I have a handicap, I can't walk far, but when I could I loved to walk, it is great exercise and burns calories. But I still do walk short distances. I can't answer for other people, just me. :)

I totally agree. I am a victim of it though, I go through fast food drive thrus and stuff all of the time myself. But it is true. The US is soo worried about obesity here and it's their own fault. Seriously.. people complain about being fat but if they just parked a few more feet farther away from the door, they would be forced to walk. And if they took the stairs instead of the elevator too. This place is seriously a lazy lazy place.

It's the hustle and bustle of every day life. Everyone in a hurry, some plan too many things to do in a day, then they are forced to divide the time they have, 6 ways instead of 4 or 10 instead of 2.

Probably because WE are so busy at a place called WORK that we rarely have time to walk anywhere.

What do you mean I use work as an excuse not to exercise? What I am referring to is the fact that we are always busy and in a hurry here thanks to the fact that work consumes our lives so much. Therefore, when people go through a drive through and park near the entrance of a grocery store, it is because we are in a hurry.

Hope that sums it up for ya. Oh and what is your hatred towards Americans about?

And what makes you think that everyone in the US is like that? I'm not. I'm the type to park whenever and walk. Even in the rain. Not that I give a d*mn what you think. Why do you care?
