Judging by the tendencies of both genders (females being more likely to be bisexual than males, for instance), and the behavour of animals (about 5% of a given population being gay. Yes, gay dogs. Cows mounting eachother. And I do mean cows. bonobos...), I'd say it was genetic based.

My personality, my past experiences in childhood, my fantasies, my outlook on life, my philosophy, my religion, the way others relate to me, the way I relate to myself, how I see my gender, how I see gender as an institution, my pscyhological needs, my fears, my hopes, my fantasies, what other people think, my hormones, my political views, friends, family, love, TV, books, movies, life, and people.
Everything I've ever experienced adds in some way to my understanding of my own sexuality and has some effect on the whole. That's how I feel. I'm a mixture of a lot, and it's come out to make a very interesting girl . . .

sexuality, its actually a very broad question, it has a lot of answers, basically it depends on how you feel. Do you like the opposite sex? or do you like same sex? if both then there goes the answer, it depends on what you prefer, I myself do not belive in gender, I think they just made that up to create a sort of control. We exist in this world to experience, so why not try it all, it's available anyway.

The way my heart glows with a woman, they way they make me feel nervous. The way I feel when my woman holds my hand. And the way she smiles when we are dancing in the rain.

sexuality and sexual orientation are different things...
sexual orientation is determined by genetics, i determine my level of sexuality.
