I am trying to budget my grocery bill and I would like to see what other family of 4 - 6 people are spending monthly on their grocery bills?

We eat a lot of fresh produce (which is very high in our area) and good quality meat. I spend an average of $135/week for 3 adults. Clipping coupons and keeping them organized takes some time, but I save about $10-$20/week, mostly on non-food items.

When I go shopping I get everything I am going to need for the week - this includes diapers, any type of soap, toilet paper, etc, because these things are needed just as often as food and I think they are overlooked most times (since they are not food). So with that consideration....anywhere from 200 to 240 a week: 2 adults, 1 6 yo and 1 2 yo (who is also diabetic so I get him some special stuff - like some single serve stuff is just easier to figure...so I buy it.) So while this total is not just food...I do not have to go again in the middle of the week and if it is sold st a grocery store then I consider it groceries!

Good luck these days... The prices have gone up so high that it is almost impossible to keep up! I think it started with the gas hike, but it adjusted the prices due to shipping costs and trucks and stuff and they never actually went back down again.
As soon as I have a new budget and all my coupons clipped and ready, everything has gone up again.
I paid $11.00 for 4 pork chops yesterday... 4 of them...

It could be AUS$300 and up, depending on what is bought, for a family of 4.

monthly just about $200 or more. But then again I have 2 babies my sister my self and my mom we go through a lot of milk!!!

$100-to $150 ,I think would be an average. according to where you shop & junk foods bought.
