I work in an office, in a cubicle. Sitting about 8 feet behind me sits a very large, kinkos-sized printer that has an annoying/loud internal-fan inside of it that runs all day long. The printer can't be shut off- it's used too often. I'm afraid of being asked to move, considering I'm new to the firm, and it seems weird. I've tried earplugs, but I don't like 'em. I'm looking for a creative, great answer to help me with my problem. Thanks and God Bless.

You really should just talk to your superviser and ask if there is another space available for you. A Happy worker is a Good worker!

Invest in some noise cancelling head phones. Preferably large cup types and not the small ear bud types.

They are great for canelling out any background white noise.
Good Luck
