Something Specially
For You
I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.

He does not have the walking flu. He is an alcoholic and they lie out both sides of their mouths. He will tell you what he thinks will make you leave him alone about the situation. How do I know? My husband is an alcoholic. He has 7 weeks sober yesterday.

I had a drinking problem years ago but always made it to the pot.I have quit drinking 24 years ago.The best cure for your husband is to admit he has a problem. He has to face it head on and he alone can do something about it.PS. How long do you think the walking flu last. You and he need to address this problem together.Good luck.I wish I could be a help to you both.

i am far from a dr. but i must say you have much love here for this man. i truly think that it's deeper than a walking flu..... come now. he could have some damage in that department from being the alcoholic. what i would do is take him to the dr and have many test done to get to the bottom of this and continue to love him .......and pray to God that soon if it is the flu that it will soon pass.

Only thing that will help him is time. Hopefully if he stays sober long enough his body might heal some. My EX husband was the same way.

He needs rehab hon if it's to that point. See if you can have him committed. If not, he's going to have to want to change for himself.

there is nothing you or anyone else can do. he has to want the help, before any rehab or anything else like that will work.
