I want to change the alarm sound on my samsung E900 - I have the software now to convert music files, but what format do I convert them to? I've tried changing them to .wav files but my phone cannot read this format ...

It does give me the option to change the sound, but only from 'default sounds' (which are driving me crazy) or 'downloaded sounds', so what I want to know is how to get a music file into 'downloaded sounds'.

when you set the alarm.... it should ask you to 'choose a tune' and select the sound you want...x

There is software called SUPA that will convert just about any file into any file including mobile phone file types - very useful.
