i am too a big fan of the alfa 156,it looks great, and has a high image, buy it with alloy wheels, not with plastic wheel covers because the alloy wheels will add a lot to its image, there are a lot of 156 in the city where i am,so i think it is a good car,the prices has decreased significantly due to the introduction of the 157,so for a 1999 model i think u should not pay more than 7000 dollars, buy the 4 cylinder 2.0 liter model,it is the best

you're used to the bomb-data reliability of jap marques, and finding out on an Alpha is probable to dissappoint. i be attentive to of three people who have those days offered Alphas and that all of them had enormous reliability issues. One, interior the top, had to furnish it back, and offered a BMW rather. i actually do no longer think of they're super autos. The coping with could be too corporation, and somewhat a bone shaker on uk roads, and the turning circle is undesirable. the interior may additionally start to rattle somewhat after a year previous! stick to what you be attentive to is my advice, there is not any rationalization why you will possibly purchase this vehicle including your head... purely your heart!

they are fairly reliable cars but when they do break down they are very expensive to fix. I would not recommend one if you have no prior knowledge of alfa's.
