I have set up a email address in my daughters name in order to send messages and photos for the future (She is two and a half years old) as email address expire after 30 days what other way could use to store information that may not be accessed for 10 to 15 years

Though storing on DVD is a cheap option now, you will have to be vigilant in transferring this to future technologies or there is a danger that you'll burn data to a format that may not have a reliable or easily accessible player. See the Doomsday project which, with other schools, I contributed to in the late 80's and how we lost the ability to access it again after the technology moved on. Paper still beats all for long term storage unless you have a preservation plan for electronic formats. Lovely idea though.

Make a CD/DVD containing all the info. Uploading it anywhere isn't really an option, as there is nothing to say any website will still be around in 10-15 years... or even the internet as we know it for that matter.

Good question. I heard talk that the Government was considering giving an e-mail address to babies, wait until the ID card debate comes back for that.

put it onto a dvd-rw if your gonna add more over time or onto a flash drive they are getting quite cheap now.
