If the pc is stunning on the Lenovo demonstrate screen, that is not a plague. At this section that is commonly doing a self attempt on hardware. you may desire to work out the keyboard lights flash. So if that's a hardware concern, reinstalling the device one million cases over won't do any solid. that is assorted issues, yet once you have something linked to the comuter different than mouse, keyboard, and demonstrate. Disconnect the further instruments and notice if the pc boots often. I had a chum who had linked a greater moderen USB difficult disk to their pc. the pc might start up often without issues. Then sometime the pc only stayed on the demonstrate screen as yours is doing. I disconnected the exterior difficult disk and it booted superb. the guy replace into even waiting to reboot. only an very incredible concern.

Your MBR on your HDD is probably corrup. Check BIOS and see if the HDD is in there. Here'sthe plan of attack, try to get to "safe mode" by pressing the F8 key repetedly during boot up. Once in there, pick safe mode with networking and go to the net and download Belarc Advisor, Ad-Aware, AVG Antivirus, and Windows Defender (all freeware). Update and run them from there. Then reboot normally, if no go, Check Bios, then if still no go, re-install Win XP. If Win XP doesn't install, HDD is shot!
