Yes, when i am typing it will tell me other similar wuestions but i still ask anyway.

I do ask a similar question sometimes reading someone else questions gives me an idea what to ask :)
I probably will answer the same question because that's just me

I have only gone ahead and asked the question once, and that was because none of the answers from the other similar questions were what I needed. But most of the time it saves me 5 points and I get the answer I need.

I look through the answers of previous questions similar to mine. If I find what I want, then I don't ask it. If I still need a better answer, I ask the question again but try to phrase it differently to get what I want.

People ask identical questions every day, but that doesn't stop me, no sir. I just try to put a different twist on my question and add some different details to evoke more unique answers.

Has never happened to me, and I wouldn't (unless none of the answers really touched the meat of the question, - which seems to happen quite regularly).

I've searched for answers on things i wanted to buy read the answers then didn't bother posting the question.

i did it once and realized what happened the next time i asked a question - i was so excited about asking a question that i didn't read all the ( or some of ) guidelines nor did i watch what i was doing... learned a valuable lesson .. thanks for asking ! = )

Yes that happens to me, sometimes I ask it, depends on how interesting the answers would be to me.
