in my case it's my family and friends because they're the ones who have supported me my whole life and i probably couldn't do withouth them

I would agree with you. Family and friends make it all worth while. My mantra in life is that I work to live not live to work. While I am not working, I enjoy doing things with my family and friends. That is what life is all about.
I once heard that people going through the hospice program very rarely regret not having more "things", but they do regret not spending more time with family and love ones.
