Go as a Zombie either rip up one of your costumes or old clothes. Put them in a black bag of soot/dirt shake it about so it is filthy rince dry in tumble drier so it is dry and now very old looking. Face paint face white bit of grey and some red/purple around the eyes.
Back comb your hair so it looks mingy and put some talc on it to make it look dusty and old.
Zombie complete well it is Haloween.
PS: Supermarkets selling at half price all halaween goodies wigs/face paints the lot .

You said this was a fancy dress party...why do you want to wear a costume. And if it is a Halloween Party..then why not go as the statue of Liberty??
