There is alot of different things to do for it and if you know anyone whos doing a hunted house tell them how to make fake blood becuase they could get a fake chuckie doll (you can get them at spencers) and put a knife with fake blood in his hand. Corn syrup,or go to google and type in recipes for fake blood it gives you like 50 websites

Take maple syrup and add rad food coloring and pour all over you. Or Katsup works if you are really in a bind, the only thing is you will smell all night. Other solution is to use water paint that washes out easily.
