Most of the time I am paying attention, but if I have a lot to do, or just don't really care my mind tends to wonder to things I need to be doing.

Usually I pay close attention, unless it's a person who just comes up to people and talks on and on and on....I know several people who do that, and when I run across them, I let them talk and I nod & respond in all the right places, but my mind is mostly elsewhere.

: )

I try really, really hard to be attentive when someone is talking to me. But, sometimes, when there are a lot of things going on, I don't seem to hear very well.

It really depends on what the person is talking about. If its important and/or interesting, of course I'm riveted to what they're saying. However, if the person is just making small talk, my mind will definitely wander as well as if they are talking about something dreadfully boring.

Good question?...... What was is again? Just kidding, my boyfriend says I never listen to him. I start new conversations while he's talking or just plain stop listening. I don't know why I do it. He's not boring I just have a short attention span.

Honestly, for the majority of people - yes, when i don't
it's because i have better things to worry about or they aren't making a lot of sense but i always respect the person by being quiet.

it truely depends on who I'm talking too and how long they've been talking. Sometimes my mind wanders when I'm talking, so I can't really judge others for the same thing.

depends on who is doing the talking. If its one of my kids im usually all ears. If it is someone whom i really don't like then yes my mind wanders and i don't hear a word they said. lol

well, I wouldn't say 100% of the time, maybe 70% and depends on who's talking to me, sometimes it's only 5%
