including a pump and water changes as well? Will he survive?

This depends on the size of the koi and the pond. The bigger the pond the better, as less water changes will be needed. Most preformed ponds tend to be quite shallow so it maybe more work than it's worth.

Koi will over winter outside OK as long as the water doesn't freeze over for long. If you bring him inside you will need an efficient filter and pump and lots of aeration. Keep the pond cool rather than heating it as the warmer the water the greater the demands will be on the filter and for water changes.

You will have to cover the pond to prevent him from jumping out and try not to stress him by switching on lights and banging doors. Koi also like to have a dark area to feel reassured and prefer some company. Feeding should be kept very light and even stopped for a couple of months.

You can keep koi indoors but only if you know what you are doing.

Its possible depending on how big your Koi is and how big the pond is. Where do you live? If your pond outside is deep enough, over 3 feet, and you have a good pump and filter he should be okay outside. They are a cold water fish and will go into a type of hibernation during the winter. Just keep the pump flowing so there is a hole in the ice if any forms.

I live in NW Washington State and my koi survive outside in my preform pond. It's about a 40 gallon one I believe. I got a couple of 60gal aquarium heaters that I put in there now as I also have snails and catfish, who aren't as tolerant. But your koi should be fine as long as the water doesn't freeze very thick. Even if it freezes over, as long as it breaks during that day so oxygen is getting in, they should be fine. Even when it was just my koi, I had one heater in there just to keep the water from freezing... but my grandmother had kept fish in the pond for years prior to my owning it and they survived with no heat.

Indoors will probably be too warm for them if you also have a heater (they prefer cooler water than most fish)... plus if you're putting them in a much smaller tank/pond than they're used to, they'd probably be worse off than just leaving them where they are.
