I don't think so.As long as a sponsor is willing to pay the they will race. But when one of the major drivers get injured or killed then will something change.

While I can't stand Kevin Harvick I don't see why they should park him for the rest of the season. I mean...the Busch Series and the Cup series are two separate series'. Kevin still has obligations to his sponsors to be in those races.

However...I do think that all of the Buschwackers have turned the Busch series into Cup-Lite. The Busch series is supposed to be about upcoming drivers not Cup series "veterans" flat out dominating the entire series. Only one Busch series regular was able to win this season and that was Paul Menard. The rest of the wins came from Cup series regulars like Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Dale Jr, Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Truex Jr, etc.

IMO, Nascar needs to make a limit as to how many Busch series races a Cup driver can participate in because the Buschwackers are ruining the Busch series. I watch the Busch series to see the upcoming drivers not Cup regulars!!

NO !!!!! He still has Obligations to his Sponsors for witch helped him Win the Busch Series Championship, and got him into the Chase for the Nextel Cup. PS, and don't forget about all his Fans it would not be fare to them.

the busch series and the nextel cup series are two different animals. what happens in one should have no effect on the other. that is like saying carl edwards should have had nextel cup driver points taken away after the crap he pulled at the chicagoland busch race this year.

NO WAY!!! The fans come to see the cup drivers race in the bush series and Harvick is one of the best. That's why I totally support his decision to leave cup practice early on Saturday to go to Memphis. He had fans over there that paid to come see him race and win. He is also on his way to finishing the season with the largest points margin in nascar history. If they park him that probably won't happen. GO 29!!!!

Um, your question makes no sense. If it was an issue, NASCAR probably would have put a stop to it in 2001 when he won the Busch Series title and was Rookie of the Year and 9th in points in Cup.

Now lets park people who deserve to be parked, like Robbie Gordon.

No. That's dumb question. Would you park Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, or Dale Earnhardt Jr., if everyone else in the chase was mathimatically eliminated? NO. There's still races to be ran. Everyone has a fair try. Besdies, don't you think it would tarnish his credibility if he just stopped racing because he won the championship? He said he was going to run the full Busch schedule, and should stick to his word.

uhmm huh?? yeah, he won the busch championship, but he's running for the nextel championship too..so why would you park him??
they are two different series, and until it is a rule (set by NASCAR) the owners are goig to put driver's who can bring the wins and the sponsers in..

I do in a way and in a way I don't.
I mean he all ready won the Busch serious he should give someone else a try for the cup.

In a way I don't because he has worked hard all year to get where he has gotten.
