To dark tower fans, what do you think the monster in the todash darkness are like?

Knowing King, a spider of sorts. That's what I think he had in mind when he wrote it. But, it's a good use of words, as the monster can be whatever the readers mind could see as the creepiest thing to come after you. (shakes) Wooh! Gives me the willies!!
