Banking Ombudsman 70 Grays Inn Road, London WC1X 8NB
they're a horrible bank, disgusting. They paid out a direct debit I had cancelled, that got my account into trouble and eventually the charges were ludicrous. I had to involve the CAB and then the Ombudsman, got the charges refunded but by then I had left them anyway. I don't recommend them to anyone

over the last couple of years they have become shocking, i have banked with them for 8 years and until recent months never had any issues, now i find that the people who work in the branches are nothing but pen pushing idiots. i recently went into a branch and wanted to withdraw more money than the cashpoit would allow and they asked what i wanted the money for, i told them it was my money and none of their F***king business! JOBS WORTHS!

the F.S.A i've also had loads of shady deals with the HSBC, they are RUTHLESS! They get loads of awards for best mortgage repayment rates, but in the long run, they are pretty much like loan sharks posing behind a safe-looking counter.
