Chop up your vegetables if they are large, otherwise just throw them in the compost pile and cover with some shovelfuls of dirt so that animals and bugs will not bother them. If you are keeping a container in the house, wait until the container is full and then dump. Dont keep a large container in the house. You might want to add some sawdust or other matter to reduce the odor. But, if throwing outside, make sure that you cover the vegetable matter well with dirt or leaves a couple inches deep.

Also, do a web search on 'vermicompost'--composting using red wiggler worms--if most of your material to be composted is kitchen waste.

i dont understand but if you keep up at throwing you biodegradables into your garden and if you keep at it you will have butifull soil the micro workers do all the work
