Ok...I woke up on saturday morning...with remembering this dream...:
I went to the doctors, they told me I was pregnant....and I was like ok...how long...she told me it happened the week of halloween... (dream was in the future) I told my husband we can't have sex this whole week...He thinks I'm over reacting....Am I???
Not that I don't want kids....just you know not ready...

To me, dreams do not tell the future, but rather hidden desires or fears. This is obviously a fear. Just make sure you are careful so that you can calm your fears. If we curtailed our lives because of our nightmares, I would never get out of the house.

According to dream dictionaries to dream to be pregnant or to have a baby does not directly mean you are going to get pregnant. It doesn't even mean that you are super fertile! It means that you are expecting something wonderful in the near future. The dream could mean you are excited about something coming up Halloween week! A week without sex because of a dream?.....girl you have more personal restraint than I!

I think your over reacting. I have these types of dreams sometimes, I freaked out at first too. But for me, if I have a dream like this 3 times within a month, usually one of my friends will annouce that they are preg. w/ in a month or two. Its happened now with everybody I know, so I usually don't freak anymore. In all the dreams I have, it's either I'm preg. or I have a newborn or something. But it hasn't been me yet. So don't freak. Relax & see what happens.
It could also mean that deep in your subconcious, you actually want a baby.

Some dreams do have meanings. But I would not deprive my husband the opportunity to be intimate with me for the sake of a dream either. I don't think the time is ever right for kids. It always seem like it's not the right time. But we are not in control of when we will have kids.

I don't think you are over reacting at all. Our bodies and minds work together. Your body is maybe telling you something, like you might ovulate this week. yes it might be just a dream, but I do feel these messages come out in different ways. You know your body and mind better than anyone. Listen to it!!!!

The Dream means that you are ready. Subconsciously you are ready, but consciously you are telling your self your not.
I would say that the idea of Motherhood is very frightening to you, maybe because you aren't sure that you would be a good Mother. If you can over come that fear, thing's would change, and you would realize that you are indeed ready for Motherhood.

week of Halloween = fear
In other words, You have some fear about making some commitment. Projecting Halloween in your dream symbolized fear of commitment. Since you are not ready for kids, that is why you have Halloween in your head telling you that you have this fear of commitment
