At the end of phone interview, if the interviewer says something like "We are working with HR, and we'll send you an e-mail in few days," then it means they are not going to invite you for an in-house interview.
Have you encoutered this kind of situation while phone interviewing? What kind of lines can you use in an attempt to turn it around?

I work in HR and know most applicants need to go though our department before they can be hired. E-mail them a thank you for the phone interveiw, it will make you stand out. If you don't hear from HR within a week call or e-mail again. If you don't hear after that, they may not have it together and you would be better off working else where.
